Paolo Ballesteros,REVEALS HER TRUE ILLNESS

Paolo Balesteros,Taking to his Instagram stories was the “Eat Bulaga!” host sharing a photo of his MRI scan. See, a slipped disc, also called the herniated or ruptured disc, occurs when the soft part of our spinal discs tears through its tough outer ring. In Paolo’s case, one of his spinal discs pushed through the right side of his spinal column, possibly affecting a nerve. This explains the constant lower back pain and numbness that extends to the arms, down to the buttocks, thighs, calves, and feet.

According to Mayo Clinic, the condition is caused by disk degeneration or simply engaging the back muscles instead of the lower body in lifting heavy objects. Body weight is also a great factor.

this happening was common to a lot of us and when we hear things like this we are always hoping that they would get back in shape very soon and always praying for those people who are now having a hard time. the same thing also human like us who also struggling with their health. as fans, we are always getting worried about them when things like this are posted on the social media and are always waiting for the updates on what is currently going on them.

The thing about a slipped disc is that it's more common than we think, and that it can happen to anyone. Remember when Polo Ravales had to undergo a surgery for his slipped disc? Right on his 33rd birthday and premier of his film “Sinners and Saints”, the Kapuso actor had to be rushed to the hospital due to intense lower back pain. He wrote on Instagram

“My operation is L4 Possible L5 laminotomy for microdiscectomy sa lumbar ko. Very constant excrutiating pain. I can’t straight my right leg. Masuwerte pala tayo na nakakalakad tayo nang normal. Three days pa lang ako ganito, pero nahihirapan na ako. Yung mga ‘di makalakad, sila ang naiisip ko, yung mga mas malala kesa sa ‘kin.”
